🐴 Kaysey
Owner | Coach
Kaysey has been riding for over 12 years and has been part of the Little Ranch family for over six years, working alongside Josie before continuing under the guidance of Katie and Tahlia.
Although one of our younger instructors, don't let her age fool you! Kaysey is a knowledgeable and patient coach who has a wonderful connection with both horses and riders.
She is a member of Casino Pony Club and continues to further her coaching through the Pony Club Australia Instructor pathway.
👩 Sharon
Owner | Coach | Teacher
With a lifelong passion for horses, Sharon brings together her experience as a qualified teacher, disability support worker and horsewoman to create a welcoming environment for riders of all ages and abilities.
Having worked extensively with children and young people throughout her career, Sharon believes every rider deserves the opportunity to learn, grow in confidence and enjoy everything horses have to offer.
She is passionate about building not only capable riders, but kind, respectful young horse people.
🐴 Raffy
Arabian
Raffy is one of our strong and dependable Little Ranch boys and a wonderful horse for riders taking that exciting step towards riding independently off the lead.
With a background in endurance riding, Raffy has plenty of experience behind him. He's also the proud dad of three successful endurance horses, so there's certainly plenty of talent in the family!
Steady, experienced and reliable, Raffy has become one of our Mr Dependables, helping riders build their confidence and independence in the saddle.

Founder of Little Ranch | Guest Coach
Josie founded Little Ranch and built the caring, family-focused riding school that so many local riders have come to love.
Although Little Ranch is beginning an exciting new chapter, Josie remains an important part of the team and continues to share her knowledge and experience with our riders.
Her legacy of kindness, quality instruction and love of horses continues to shape everything we do.
🐴 Sunny
Our Little Grey Superstar
Sunny is our cute little bundle of grey and already knows the Little Ranch job very well! He was part of the Little Ranch team with Josie and has continued to shine since joining us at our new home.
Sunny is doing a fabulous job teaching some of our littlest riders, helping them experience horses, learn new skills and develop their confidence in the saddle.
Small, sweet and very loved, Sunny is an important little member of our teaching team.

Coach
Katie has been riding and competing since she was a child and has a wealth of experience across many disciplines.
She is currently the President of Casino Pony Club and enjoys helping riders develop confidence, correct riding skills and a genuine love of horses.
Her calm, encouraging approach makes her a favourite with riders of all ages.
🐴Elle
Coach
Elle has a genuine passion for horses and loves helping riders become more confident, capable and independent in the saddle.
With 15 years of riding experience and a background in Pony Club, Elle enjoys jumping and eventing with her own horses. Originally from Adelaide, she is currently studying Veterinary Science and has a strong interest in horse care and wellbeing.
Elle enjoys working with riders of all ages and abilities, helping them develop their riding skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

🌼 Tahlia
Coach
Tahlia is a valued member of the Little Ranch coaching team, bringing enthusiasm, patience and a genuine love of helping riders improve their confidence and horsemanship.
Currently studying Veterinary Science, Tahlia also brings a growing knowledge and strong interest in horse health, care and wellbeing to her role. She enjoys creating a positive learning environment where every rider feels supported, encouraged and confident to develop their skills.
The heart of Little Ranch is our incredible team of school horses and ponies.
Each one has their own personality, strengths and special place in our family. They are carefully selected for their calm temperaments and love helping riders learn and grow.
From first pony rides to more advanced lessons, our horses are true teachers.
🐴 Oaky
Paint Cross
Oaky is our strong and handsome boy. A solid and experienced Pony Club horse, he has plenty of knowledge to share with his riders.
While Oaky is still relatively new to our weekly lesson program, he has settled beautifully into his new role and is quickly developing into another Mr Dependable of the Little Ranch team.
Strong, steady and experienced, Oaky is proving to be a wonderful partner for riders as they continue to develop their skills and confidence.
🐴 Rainy Jane
Stock Horse
Pretty Rainy Jane is the baby of the Little Ranch team and currently has a very important job of her own — learning how to become a lesson horse.
She is gradually developing her confidence, experience and teaching skills, with the hope that she will officially join our lesson team during Term 4, 2026.
For now, Rainy Jane is learning alongside everyone else, and we're looking forward to watching her grow into her new role.
🐴 Banjo
Brumby
Banjo is our little brumby with plenty of personality. He has previously been a wonderful lead-line pony for young and beginner riders and is now expanding his role within the Little Ranch lesson team.
With his kind nature and growing experience, Banjo is helping riders develop their balance, confidence and independence while continuing to build his own skills as a versatile lesson pony.
Banjo is a lovely example of what we value at Little Ranch — horses and riders learning, growing and building confidence together. 💚🐴.
🐴 River
Off-the-Track Thoroughbred
River has already had quite the career! After beginning life as a racehorse, he went on to enjoy show jumping before finding his next role here at Little Ranch.
These days, River is putting his kind and gentle nature to wonderful use helping teach our adult riders.
With his experience and lovely temperament, River is a beautiful example of how horses can successfully move through different stages and careers throughout their lives.
